Cybersquatters dine on Pasta Hut domains

It was revealed today by Brand Republic, that cybersquatters have focused their attention on Pasta Hut. Following the news earlier this week that Pizza Hut is to change its name, opportunists have been quick to snap up web addresses such as, Pastahut.com, Pastahut.net, Pastahut.info and Pastahut.org have been registered and the sites filled with Google-style pay-per-click links, according to domain name specialist NetNames.



Luckily for Pizza Hut, the Pastahut.co.uk has already been registered, and ranks far higher than any of the other sites in terms of page ranking on any search engines.

For anyone who feels strongly either way about the change of name, Pizza Hut have also put a poll on the site for consumers to let them know.
